E2K iMob is the new service offered by Storm Open Solutions for the creation of websites for mobile use.

With decades of experience in the field of automatic identification and development of integrated systems (host-based and web-based), our service allows the synergy of cutting-edge technologies, such as QR-code, video streaming and collecting data from dynamic pages.
E2K iMob allows every company to bring their business to the mobile web world: you only have to think about the contents, since we take care of all the technical problems and provide you with the advice necessary to implement a successful system.

Optimization and ease of usage

In contrast to the common web sites optimized for desktop browsers, the pages of a mobile site should be developed in a different language and using different strategies, in order to allow the proper visualization on as many devices as possible. Our pre-rendering platform (CMS) prepares the pages in the two formats currently required by mobile phones on the market (WML and XHTML MP); when a phone connects, our servers recognize the device type and address it to the pages that it is able to display. This allows the visitor to enjoy the contents effectively, regardless of the technology used.
The offer of E2K iMob is divided into different levels of service, depending on the technical involvement of the customer and on the results he aims to achieve.

• All-inclusive: "turnkey" project - we do everything (graphics, layout, scripting, upload), while the customer only provides contents.
• Developer: the customer acquires a license of our CMS to build his site offline; using the CMS, he can define every aspect of the pages, preview and publish them on our servers. This formula is particularly useful if the user wants to have full freedom to modify or update contents.

The technology

E2K iMob manages offline rendering of pages starting from the contents, to obtain a superior quality and a lower time for viewing the pages, once determined the "class" of the phone. Our CMS is also multilingual, to allow the creation of different versions of the same page very quickly. For special requirements, we develop ad-hoc scripts to import information from any existing data source.
Videos and images are optimized for mobile usage and the generated pages are W3C-compliant, to ensure maximum compatibility with the systems on the market; an important part of our service is the verification of the new mobile terminals for upgrading the page generation system.
The sites we create are custom-made; unlike other CMS, which allow you to choose among only a limited number of templates, our templates are unique. So you can keep your corporate "look" in the mobile version of your site, avoiding the "photocopy" effect that plagues most of the website based on common templates. All the collected data is stored on a SQL Server database and they can be made available to the customer in the format that he prefers.
The possibility to access contents through QR-code in mobility allows to focus public attention and attract new customers in an effective manner; our experience on barcodes is at your service, to ensure that there will be no reading problems.
