Point of sale management system
E2K POS is the module in our Retail system which fulfills all point of sale requirements; its interface is designed to be used with a mouse and a keyboard or directly with your fingers (touch screen). A sale is simply performed by scanning barcodes and confirming the transaction with a click/touch; for additional needs, it is possible to perform advanced searches to identify the article or the customer to which assign the sale (invoicing or customer-oriented promotions). A series of reports can be used to track sales trends, get the inventory, the status of claims and see the issued receipts.
Several models of cash registers are supported, as well as receipt printers, barcode scanners, external displays; the interface of the program is available in several languages, besides Italian (English, German, French, Chinese, Spanish).
Sale functions include returns, gifts, allowances and advances: operator profiles can allow or deny access to certain features.
Among E2K POS features let's mention: displaying inventory of other stores; issuing invoices and tax-refund forms; creating delivery notes to transfer goods.
Goods' shipments coming from the main warehouse or transfers coming from other shops can be confirmed and articles directly loaded (and optionally labels printed, when needed).
The loyalty module allows you to identify customers (barcodes and/or RF tags are supported) and keep track of the points earned in the chain stores, as well as to submit questionnaires at the time of sale that can target marketing operations (E2K POS Extended).

Always online, or only when you need it
E2K Retail can be used online or offline, depending on the needs of the customer.
In offline mode, all the points of sale can operate independently and synchronize data with the main office through standard protocols (FTP); information travel in encrypted mode, for maximum security.
Functions which are essential for selling are always available, even if you have chosen the online mode and the network is temporarily unavailable (emergency mode); these functions include returns, gifts, allowances and advances: operator profiles can allow or deny access to certain features.

Fidelity, questionnaires and promotions

Available promotions include:
- allowance in value at reaching an amount on a single sale: it is possible to define one or more targets (in value) that trigger a deduction when reached in a single selling. For example, it is possible to define a discount of 10 € when the customer spends 200 € in a single bill;
- rebate in value when achieving a certaing amount on multiple sales: as above, but the system tracks the total spent by the customer to grant the deduction;
- price list: when this promotion is enabled, it is applied the specified price list instead of the default one for the period; it can be used, for example, for clearance sales;
- fixed price: the most basic type of promotion; it sets article price, regardless of the current price list;
- M x N: suppose that Z is the cost of an item, it is possible to set an automatic discount when buying M identical items; the price will be reset from M * Z to N * Z (with N < M); for example, 3 x 2 on article "12345" which costs € 20.00 implies that 3 pieces of that item will result in a sale price equal to € 40.00;
- collection of points: you define the value corresponding to a point; for example, if a point is 1 €, on a charge of 20 €, 20 points will be awarded. You can define a price catalog in which each entry (the premium) have a matching amount in points;
- discount with maximum threshold: allows you to define a discount rate which will be applied up to a certain amount spent (threshold), after which the discount will not be applied anymore; also in this case it is possible to define different ranges, as well as the number of months after which the limit will be reset. This promotion keeps track of the total amount spent by the customer. E.g. you can define a discount of 30% up to a total expense of € 2,000.00; in this case, the customer can buy up to € 2,857.00 ( 2,000.00 + discounts), thus taking advantage of the discount of 30%; over this amount, no more discounts will be applied;
- percentage discount upon reaching a certain amount on a single sale: similar to type 1, but it applies a percentage discount instead of a discount in value;
- percentage discount upon reaching a certain amount on multiple sales: similar to type 2, but it applies a percentage discount instead of a discount in value;
- discount: unconditional discount.
A module for every need
The E2K Retail system provides a range of optional modules and applications, to meet different needs.
For example, E2K Tools is an utility to monitor and update prices in real time, as well as providing reports and statistics, and some useful parametric queries for practical data analysis.
For the collection of supplier orders at events, E2K Showroom is available: it is a cut-down version of E2K client that allows to maintain adequate visibility of purchases, providing real-time information useful to take informed and timely decisions.
To simplify goods receiving and price (re)labeling we created E2K Goods, a "mobile" version of E2K POS, which communicates in real time with the point of sale.
Inventories can be greatly simplified using our E2K Collect or BHT Data software, which allow to check stocks and enter quantities using mobile computers.
